Times tables 1–12
Fluency here pays dividends for years. Drill one table at a time — set the second number range to just one value (e.g., 7 to 7) to isolate it, then expand.
Telling time & elapsed time
Grade 3 requires telling time to the nearest 5 minutes and calculating elapsed time duration across hours and minutes.
Basic division facts
Division is multiplication in reverse. Once the 3 times table is solid, 18÷3=6 should feel automatic. The division facts worksheet reinforces this link.

Teaching tip
The '×7 trick': 7×8=56 (five-six, five-six, 5×6=30, 6×7=42... just memorise it). Some tables simply require rote repetition. A 5-minute daily drill sheet beats a 1-hour weekly session every time.
